In Connecticut
In Connecticut it is raining now. The cool and the rain are welcome as Autumn prepares to enter the land once again. I saw crinkling and browning on leaves this morning, and the air is changing. I tip my cap to Frederick Exley for his affinity with Autumn, and his ability to capture its essence in prose, particularly in his novel A Fan's Notes which I am currently enjoying.

Ahh, I remember reading (and loving) this book. You've inspired me to pull it off the shelf again. Thanks, Will. Looking forward to traveling with you, at least via blog for now.
